PRETTY WONDER WOMAN Becca changed into her Wonder Woman costume and began to patrol the city. She entered a rough part of town just in time to see a man about to be shot by a masked assailant. The Amazing Amazon Becca leaped in the way and deflected a pair of deadly bullets. She was about to give chase when the would be victim suddenly collapsed. "My name is Richard," He explained, looking exhausted, "I'm a Billionaire Industrialist. My fiance worked in this part of town and turned up missing. I've been looking for her for three days straight." "Why don't you go home at get some rest?"Wonder Woman said, compassion in her voice, "I'll search for your fiance." "Thanks. Her name is Julia," Richard said, handing her a photo of a beautiful redhead, "I'm at the Fremont Hotel. You can contact my business partner if I'm not available." Wonder Woman searched the seemy area for hours, and came up with nothing. Deciding to see if she could get some more information she headed for the Fremont, and was told that Richard had gone to sleep. His business partner Jason, however, met her in the lobby and invited her up to his suite. "I can't believe that Wonder Woman is looking for Julia," Jason said as he closed the door behind them, "What's your interest in the case?" "It's the Amazon creed to help those in need," Wonder Woman said simply. "Too bad you can't help yourself," Jason said, as he grabbed her from behind and clamped a chloroform soaked cloth over her nose and mouth, "Sweet dreams, Wonder Woman." Becca's vision blurred as the sickly sweet anesthetic invaded her nostrils. Her limps felt heavy and her legs buckled. And then darkness came . . . " . . . der Woman?" A voice called out to her, and Wonder Woman opened her eyes to see the face of Julia looking down at her, "Are you all right?" "I think so," Wonder Woman replied, seeing that both she and the woman she was seeking were both in handcuffs and leg irons, "Where are we?" "Jason's boat," Julia answered, "He chloroformed me and has been keeping me here for the last few days. He's afraid that if I marry Richard he'll lose control of his money." "Well, I think I can do something about that," Wonder Woman said, and with a burst of Amazon strength broke free of her chains. She quickly freed Julia, and searched the boat for their captor. Jason had a moment to be surprised by his prisoners' escape before Wonder Woman's fist sent him down for the count. Richard was overjoyed by Julia's rescue. They both invited Wonder Woman to the wedding. Jason was otherwise engaged, for ten to twenty years.The End.
